When is the first meeting this year (2009) ?

omg, last night was pretty intense, I hope we didn't scare people off with our burning gamer soc love.

also I felt the night could have used more journey

favorite moment: the soc singing Rick Astley in full chorus
2nd Favourite moment: Will telling some random girl to shut up and join him in constructing a human pyramid

erm, sorry guys... I actually fell asleep at 6 and awoke at 10 feeling very groggy so I missed the meeting :/ I'll be at the next (I know I keep saying that...)

well I only work evenings/nights.
I start at 6 on wed so I might have to show my face and meet the new people and see the old for more than 5minutes while I give you drinks.

I see we have a social on for this week drinking wise, but are we doing any gaming this week? The e-mail didn't say. It's been three weeks since I last played magic with the guys!

From what I could gather, tomorrow's meeting was supposed to be gaming meetup and social slayer afterwards. Seems no room has been found for this one either.

Couldn't you meet up in like the library or something?

Sure the social may be more ideal with more people and whatnot but you could also throw out some suggestions for a few unofficial meetings in the tabletop forum.

you should just book a repeat booking for every week in the same lecture theatre, even if your not going to use it (its what anime soc have done). That way the room is ready to roll regardless

Not unless you sort of count my flat. (any time today as the meeting is practically cancelled and now something else got cancelled so my day is free). If anyone's interestd, but I only have a DSi, and a laptop with dawn of war/medieval total war 2/lord of the rings battle for middle earth/star wars empire at war.
