UT2004 Focus Group Needed

Hey guys, as you may or may not know I'm currently creating a UT '04 multiplayer map for my course. I'd love if I could get a few of you to help me out by being a focus group. Basically all I'd like from you is to give me some ideas of arcutecture you've enjoyed from previous levels you've played. Pictures and explanations would be great aswell.

Also I'm thinking of hooking up some small LANs for my beta maps (drinks and snacks included!!!! (sort of).

Ooo what are you studying that lets you create a map!

I used to create maps for the original UT, but when I got UT2004, UnrealEd didnt work, kept crashing all the time so i gave up

Hey i'd be up for testing your map on LAN, as long as i dont have to haul my pc somewhere.

Anyways idea's wise i always liked sniper maps. E.G: a tall tower that gives a good view of the battle field but has a starcase leading to the top that would leave the sniper trapped should someone with a shotgun or minigun come up the stairs. Would mean the sniper would always be worried about enemies from behind, and possibly throw his aim off.

I'm in for testing too provided I dont have to lug my PC anywhere unfortunately. I'm on the 5th floor which makes it a proper pain in the arse to take anywhere

you won't have to bring your own PCs. i have a nice rig and a laptop, and i could probably russel up another 2 laptops for 2v2. if not i can defo do 1v1.

hey guys, just an update. I've almost finished my map, just got some texturing and stuffs like that to do. I'll probably be ready for a beta test sometime next week. I'm thinking beer, pizza and 4 players. Also if you give me any good ideas I can add them while you play Geo Wars or something then a replay.

Btw here's a sneak preview of my map. This is an early recording and there have been more rooms added since.

Another Update:

Almost all the texturing is done. I just have lighting and bot paths to do and it's totally ready. I'm aiming to have it done by tuesday so if you guys are up for it I might have a pre-social meet up at my place for a little focus group session.
