I think steam is actually taking a serious look at how much they're charging for games these days:

I'm a big fan of steam games, only thing that worries me is what happens to my games if steam ever goes bust!

Although I did have to buy left 4 dead from amazon becuase they were charging £26 and valve wanted nearly £40...

Since valve have switched to using pounds instead of dollars and have merged VAT into the games prices though theyre a LOT better

I don't think we're going to have to worry about valve going out of buisness anytime soon. It's a great company and if they were going to go out of buisness i'm sure they'd do something to make sure you don't get screwed.

Oh i'm not worried, just that nagging thought in the back of your mind that all us technoglogy freaks have - "what happens if it ever goes offline" ? :p

True, but with so many steam players it'd be hard for them to just go bust lol.

I didn't buy the indie pack because I already own the titles I most want from it ...and I couldn't justify the want versus the price versus the price on non offer.
