| Okay guys, we might as well pony up if todays society council meeting goes well and do another game night. =) So what will our PC-Playing brethren have? Some CoD4? Maybe something steam based, like CS:S (or 1.6, fool.), TF2 or (in a few days) L4D? More recent stuff, like Farcry 2? I've not really tried the multiplayer on that, was lagging something fantastic, but seemed alreet. Stuff that's shutting down in a few months, like Hellgate London? I think RTS stuff should probably be organised in non-mass, as most games of that type have fairly small player capacities, but I can take a stab at organising something along those lines too, if wanted. -For the love of MS, if you don't see something you'd like to play on the poll, don't think we won't play it, just suggest it. =)

| There's a meeting today? I don't recall being informed.
Also, CoD4. CoD5 multiplayer beta is still nowhere to be seen, Activision have really let me down there, however I have seen it mentioned somewhere that the full game will feature a co-op gametype of some sort.

| Ah, sorry guys. Didn't mean to raise alarms.
The meeting I mention is the Union meeting where Jay, Will, Tom and myself are going to try and get affilliated, and therefore budgeted.
Then we'll try and organise some GC tickets before... tomorrow, when you can nolonger book them. Ha!
...it might be an idea to actually just book your own tickets. Response is slooooow.

| We literally got affiliated half an hour ago, as a result societies guys and game city have been really slow to respond as we can organise any concrete plans until we're affiliated. We suggest you buy your own tickets, we're trying to find out if we can reimburse your 3rd we promised off at freshers fair. Sorry about the balls up guys, next term/year we'll be good to go | |

| It's good that Will posted up about it, I'm just getting round to it now. Yeah, sorry about that to all, looking into still getting the third off. Booked my ticket a few minutes ago, as the lady I was told to contact hasn't been replying much. =( No worries, eh? Where were you, Jarvis! | |

| i suppose the easiest way to start PC games would be to have it as a steam game simply because of the community and ease of inviting players to enter your server. I know there are alot of CS:S fans out there so Counter Strike Sundays anyone? I'd also love to set up a TF2 but that game really needs around 20 people playing (10v10) to make it work and im no't sure how many of our members would turn up for a TF2 night. I'd also like to say that if you see me online on steam then feel free to join the server i'm on or invite me to join you | |

| By the looks of it CS:S is the winner. Since monday night is our social night at Junktion7, wednesday night is a night that alot of members have other society meetings to go to and we don't want to double book you. That's why I was thinking Sundays, if anyone who is despriate to join in and can't make it on sunday each week then we'll think about changing the day. If not then I'll see you online next sunday.
In the meantime make sure you're part of the gamer soc community on steam and you add me as a friend.

We're also going to be trying to get funding to set up our own vent. See you around.
