| Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting a DSI. I've been looking around and i've found a few bundle deals but i'm not totally sure what to go for... Is it worth getting a DSI over a lite? Will there be games coming out that use the camera, etc... or will i just be paying an extra Ł40 for that photo mac manipulation thing? Also i'm thinking about getting a bundle deal with Brain Training. There is another bundle with "More Brain Training". That's the sequal right? and if so is it better than the first? Thanks in advance for the help EDIT: i don't like pokemon, is it even worth me getting a DS? | |

| I was gunna say, If you wanna play pokemon, stay away from the DSi (it has no GBA slot at the bottom) But since your not a fan , Then I guess it might be worth while, There is a load of shovel wear for the DS but look hard enough and theres a few gems to be had, depends on your tastes. I recommend: .Ace Attorney series (dont knock it till you try it) .Sonic Rush .New Super Mario Bros .Advance Wars .Geometry Wars .Animal Crossing In terms of DSi specific features though, allot more games are going to feature exclusive features (or so I've heard) such as the camera, and the extra features like the MP3 player and SD card slot are nice. However for me the real plus is the nintendo store from which you can download new games, features and content to your DSi (think the iPod Apps store). atm its ok but could have some good content in the future plus its DSi exclusive so will take advantage of the new stuff. TL;DR If you just wanna play games get a DS, but if you got the cash and want to be future proof, get the DSi | |

| I dno if this is too late, but personally I'll stick with the DS Lite as I have a decent library of GBA games i'de rather keep and use a proper camera for taking pictures as for games if you want rpg's I recomend FF3/4 remakes for the DS as well as Dragon Quest remakes espcially 5 which I have atm and is craploads of fun Both brain trainings are as good as each other | |

| Bah, too many consoles these days are not being built for retrospective games. DSi is one such console. Thing is with most of the new DS games you're gonna have to use the DSi because they'll make the games fit to it. For example, gameplay may involve using the camera or something. As far as I can tell at the minute, however, only the cheap and nasty games require the gimmicks, but it won't be long before the majority of the decent ones convert. It's sad, really, most gamers (I know I do) like playing the old games on the better consoles. | |

| They have done the NGC compatible with the Wii, but as for the DSi, Nintendo did say they would have downloadable software from old games to be downloaded onto the DSi system in the future, my guess will be original GBC games or GB, ie, pokemon r/b/y or legend of zelda or maybe donkeykong (the original with mario) | |

That's just bringing the system they have with the wii, i.e. virtual console, over to the DS. Lol, talk about being cheap. My guess is they will not even bother altering the name, they'll just call it 'virtual console for DS'. They already did the same thing with DSiWare, the blatant copy of Wiiware. Also, I just bought myself a DS Lite. Woo, turqoise. It was a better colour than all red.

| I think that at the end of this month, 3 new colours of DSi are being released, red, metalic blue and aqua. | |

| I'm going to get soulsilver so I get Lugia and Groudon, legendaries that specialise in moves that don't have it in their types, ie water and fire Further more I can't wait to get unique 2 pichus in my team! | |

| Lol not just Groudon and Lugia but also Kyogre. My friend just loved spamming me with thunder when using Kyogre. Really ruined my tactics. | |

| Ah right, I was just saying. I don't pretend to know everything about pokemon, just the basics. I don't even know was evolution training is.
By the way, is turquoise a bad colour?

| There IS a spectrobes 2 out and has been for a long long time...
Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals
And as for the other world I've completed platinum, and the other world ant that great. It's a maze with giratina at the end and that's it. No other pokes or anything!
And the pedometre scheduled to come out here as well

| Don't iphones explode? I read in the papers that there have been cases where they've started smoking and then either burst into flames or exploded. Apple have been paying people to keep quiet about it.
Also, oops, fail attempt at redirecting topic with spectrobes 2. Deploying plan b. Maybe they'll bring out a sequel to that game where it was just like pokemon except with dinosaurs?
