Just read an intresting article/rant on Kotaku about the downside of publishers bunching all their triple A titles into a two month time frame of October-November and a call to relaease games more evenly throughout the year.

It raises intresting points about games launching in the summer months such as GTA IV and MGS4 and enjoying a sales period with little competition. (however it should be noted GTA IV was originally down for an october release)
What do you guys think? would you miss the magic and hype of the christmas gaming rush?
I HATE IT, you wait all year for a good game they SEVEN come at once and I can afford only two maybe three if I starve myself.
